About Us

Decades of experience with a large body of court and judicial process expertise.

DB Crawford Consulting LLC builds, implements and operates the Case Process Manager for courts and justice agencies. We are based in Canton, Ohio.

What we do

One product line, held deliberately narrow

One focus: judicial system software and the services, not a general IT consultancy that also sells a case management systems.

That narrowness is the point. The value in this platform is not its feature count — it is the accumulated inventory of solved exceptions: the statutory change that arrives with 30 days notice, the end-of-month financial run that has to reconcile to the penny, the conversion where the source data does not match its own documentation. That knowledge is not transferable to a vendor who works in multiple verticals.

History

Product Origin

CPM was not written last year. It has been in production since 2014.

DB Crawford Consulting LLC owns, develops, and supports CPM and related systems. These systems have run through multiple statutory cycles, conversions and implementations.

How we work

Four commitments that shape every engagement

Boundaries in writing

What the product does not do, is not certified for, and does not enable by default, stated before you ask. It is in our documents and on this site.

Configuration before code

Screens, fields, rules, work queues, notices, reports and financial distributions are administrator-configurable. Custom code is the exception and is scoped as such.

Evidence at every checkpoint

Conversion counts reconcile. Mock runs produce logs. Acceptance is signed on results, not assertions. Nothing advances on 'it looked right'.

Knowledge transfer as a deliverable

Administrator independence is an implementation outcome. If your staff still need us to add a field two years in, we did the training wrong.

Talk to the people who build it.

There is no sales layer between you and the team that writes and runs this software.
